About Mike Rockow

Mike Rockow has been a Monroe County Legislator since being sworn in January 2010 after being elected to office in November 2009.  The 2nd Legislative District includes Clarkson, Hamlin and Sweden.

In the Legislature, Mike serves as the Vice Chairman of the Human Services Committee as well as being a member of the Transportation Committee.

Not only has Mike served our community through his legislative duties, but he has also been a member of the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation and Parks Advisory Council, Brockport Ski Club Advisor, and Former President of the Brockport High School Football Booster Club.  He has been the recipient of the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Community Service Award in Recognition of his service with all of these different groups and his dedication to coaching various local baseball and basketball teams.

In the private sector, Mike began working as a successful sales representative for a local distributor of site utility products for the water, sewer, and drainage industry called RAMSCO.  He was later elevated to the position of co-branch manager for the company.

Mike is a graduate of Brockport High School and went on to earn his Associates Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Quality Management.  He lives in Sweden with his wife Pam and their two children, Stephanie and Bryon.
